1. The
first step in a perfect fit is correct measurements. If you are not able to be
measured by a bridal consultant at The Bridal Connection please find a tailor
or bridal/tux shop in your area to ensure proper measurements.
2. It is
also important to try on your dress or tux as soon as it arrives in the store.
3. You should schedule your first fitting 6-8 weeks before the wear
date.
4. Bridal gowns generally require three fittings. If you are
having your dress steamed, an appointment will be made after your final fitting
to pick up .
5. Bridesmaids generally need two fittings. If you are
having your dress steamed, an appointment will be made after your final fitting
to pick up.
6. Tuxes come in the week of the event and need to be tried
on immediately.
7. Alterations charges vary. Please feel free to call
The Bridal Connection to ask any questions or speak with the seamstress before
your first fitting. |
Fittings and Alterations Notice:
Please understand that
when you purchase your gown and/or dress, we will order from the
manufacturer’s recommended size charts based on the measurements provided,
unless you state otherwise. Such an agreement will be reflected in our contract
with you and on your receipt. Contracts are solely between the customer or
proxy and the store, unless customer is a minor. Do not be alarmed that sizing
charts vary from ready to wear clothing.
Alterations and their
associated costs should be expected. Your apparel is not custom fitted, but is
fit to approximate measurements. Weight fluctuations and pregnancy can
definitely change the dress fit as originally ordered to the time of the event.
The seamstresses we employ or contract with are experts in their field, having
many years of experience. You will be given the opportunity to discuss any
alterations and costs with our staff prior to agreeing to the course of action.
We are very reasonable on our fees and below many competitors in the region.
Regardless, you have the option to use our services or go elsewhere.
It
is our sincere intent is to provide you with quality products, professional
guidance and superior customer service. If for any reason we fail to meet those
standards, which should not be confused with unreasonable expectations, we will
be happy to “reason” a viable outcome. Always feel free to use our
